A practical approach

Mainland Business Setup.
Built around your needs.

A company licence should support your customers, operating model and growth plans. We start by understanding what you intend to sell, who will own the company and where the business will operate. Then we map the authority approvals, documentation, office requirements and recurring costs before you commit.

01

Your goals first

We listen to what you want to achieve, the timing you have in mind and the constraints that matter. The recommendation starts with your situation and the information available.

02

A defined scope

Understand the services, documents, responsibilities and costs before proceeding. We identify third-party decisions and separate optional support from the core engagement.

03

Clear next steps

Receive a practical checklist and a point of contact for the agreed work. We explain outstanding requirements so you can see what is ready and what needs attention.

Make an informed decision

Choose a route that fits the business

Many mainland activities allow full foreign ownership, but activity-specific restrictions and approvals must still be checked. A licence does not automatically include visas, a bank account or tax exemption. We explain the route and provide a written breakdown of the relevant government, premises and service costs.

Your questions answered

Mainland Business Setup FAQs.

What is a mainland company?

It is a business licensed through the relevant emirate’s mainland licensing authority. The permitted activities, legal form and any external approvals determine how it can operate. We help you assess this route against your intended business.

Can a foreign investor own the whole company?

Many activities permit full foreign ownership. The position should be confirmed for the chosen activity and legal structure, including any special regulatory requirements. We check the applicable route before preparing the application.

Which licence do I need?

That depends on what the business does. Trading, professional services and regulated activities can have different requirements. Describe your actual operations so the selected licence reflects the work you intend to carry out.

Do I need an office?

Premises requirements depend on the licence and activity. We review the proposed address, tenancy requirements and workspace options before you sign an agreement. A low-cost workspace is useful only if it suits your business and licensing needs.

Are visas included?

Visa arrangements and eligibility must be reviewed separately. The number of visas, establishment requirements and government charges affect the total scope. Your quotation will identify what is included and what is an additional cost.

Does mainland setup mean zero corporate tax?

No. Incorporation does not create a blanket tax exemption. Corporate Tax and VAT obligations depend on the company’s circumstances and applicable rules. We can arrange a separate review of registration, accounting and filing requirements.

How long does formation take?

Timing depends on activity approvals, document readiness, shareholder arrangements and premises. After reviewing the requirements we provide an indicative plan and identify dependencies. Authority processing and third-party decisions remain outside our control.

How do I get a setup quotation?

Start with a free initial consultation. Share your activity, shareholders, workspace and visa needs. We prepare a defined scope with setup charges, recurring costs and exclusions so you can compare options before proceeding.
