GrowBox works with businesses in Dubai and across the UAE to develop and improve that framework. Whether you need to establish procedures for a new operation or review an existing programme, we start by understanding your requirements and agreeing a realistic plan.

Who we support

Built around your
business activity.

Real estate transactions, valuable goods and corporate structures present different questions. The engagement should reflect your activities, customer relationships and supervisory requirements.

We can discuss support for real estate brokers, precious metals and stones businesses, accounting and audit firms, and trust or corporate service providers. If you operate in another sector, tell us your licensed activities so we can clarify the appropriate scope.

The UAE compliance context

The current UAE framework covers money laundering, terrorism financing and proliferation financing. Requirements vary by regulated activity and supervisory authority.

The Ministry of Economy and Tourism’s March 2026 DNFBP guidance addresses governance, risk assessment, customer due diligence, reporting and recordkeeping. These elements work together; registration or a policy document alone is not the whole framework.

Your questions answered

AML services FAQs.

What do AML services include?

AML support can include KYC and customer due diligence, risk assessments, policy development, screening and monitoring procedures, reporting guidance, training and compliance reviews. The right scope depends on your business activity, regulator and existing controls.

Which UAE businesses need an AML framework?

Requirements depend on the activities you carry out and the rules of your supervisory authority. Relevant DNFBP sectors include real estate agents and brokers, precious metals and stones dealers, independent accountants and auditors, and trust and corporate service providers. Tell us your licensed activities so the applicable requirements can be reviewed.

Is KYC the same as AML compliance?

KYC helps establish who your customer is and is an important part of customer due diligence. A complete AML framework also addresses business risks, policies, monitoring, reporting, training and oversight. Completing a KYC form alone does not establish that the whole framework is effective.

Can you help with goAML?

We can discuss the registration process and help organise reporting procedures and supporting information. Registration is only one part of a wider compliance framework. Decisions and submissions must follow the applicable requirements and authorised reporting arrangements.

Can GrowBox review an existing AML policy?

Yes. A review can compare your documented procedures with how your business actually operates, identify gaps and recommend practical updates. Share the type of business, the age of the policy and the purpose of the review during your initial consultation.

What documents should we prepare?

A starting checklist may include your trade licence, ownership structure, current AML policies, risk assessment, training records and an overview of your customer onboarding process. We agree the documents needed after scoping. Please do not upload identity documents or customer files through this enquiry form.

Does hiring an AML consultant replace our compliance officer?

External support can help your team implement and review its framework. Your business retains its compliance responsibilities, and the compliance officer retains the responsibilities of that role. The scope of any external support should be clearly agreed.

How much does AML support cost, and how long does it take?

This depends on the number of entities, business activities, customer profile, existing documentation and the work needed. Your initial consultation is free; a timeline and fee proposal follow the scope review. Mention any supervisory request or approaching deadline when you enquire.
